Work-Related Stress Management
According to the HSE, 11.7 million working days were lost due to work related stress in 2015/16, an average of 23.9 days lost per case. In 2015/16 stress accounted for 37% of all work related ill health cases and 45% of all working days lost due to ill health. Stress can affect everyone and every business! There are ways to manage stress and reduce costs to the individual and business.
This course introduces the key elements of a work related stress management program; how to conduct the risk assessment to highlight the key psychosocial risk factors, and implement controls applying the HSE’s Management Standards approach. It provides guidance on how to use the approach in your organisation and gives you the opportunity to explore its practical application.
