We've been busy working with our partners Yoomee and our wonderful user testers to get our new Comoodle web site up and running.
We've been trying out an "Alpha" version of our new web site with some of our users over the past few weeks. This is a very early version of the new web site, with limited functionality. It's helped us to see whether we're going in the right direction, and we've made lots of improvements already. It's also enabled our team and our custodians to add details of the stuff, space and skills that we have available, so it's all there ready for you.
Today we've made the “Beta” version of our new web site live. You can start using it right now to add things you'd like to share, tell us about your group, and request things to support your community activities. Comoodle beta isn't the fully designed web site quite yet, but it is a live working version that's available for everyone to use – and it's where we'll start doing all our sharing from now on.
You'll still be able to find our current "Make a wish" form and some of our other Comoodle request forms on our blog for now, whilst we get everything set up on the new web site. You're very welcome to ask questions and give us your feedback about how you'd like to see the new site develop.
The final step is having the full version of the Comoodle web site up and running. This will happen fairly quickly now that our beta web site is live, and any details that you add to the beta Comoodle site now will still be there afterwards, so feel free to get comoodling.
We've reached a big milestone. But really this is only just the start. We'll be supporting you with pitching your activities, encouraging more people to get involved in sharing, and learning from how you use Comoodle, so that we can make things better every step of the way.
Please stay with us for an interesting journey in 2017.
